- Organizational Reputation: This organization is considered one of the best places to work for someone with my skills and experience
- Pay: My pay is appropriate for the role I have in this organization

Based on our Davis Auto Group staff feedback, here's what Profit Magazine had to say about our group and the reasons we were chosen as one of the best Small & Medium businesses in the country!
43. Davis Automotive Group (Davis Properties Ltd.) Lethbridge, Alta.
Automotive dealerships
FTE employees: 369
Chief executive: John Davis
Davis Automotive Group has designed many initiatives to make sure leadership listens to staff concerns—not just the reverse. The annual employee review process is structured to accept feedback from employees as much as it is to rate their performance. And the recent addition of an intranet program that allows employees to share information with their colleagues throughout the dealership chain has been a hit with staff and management alike. Engagement is high, but the firm keeps trying to raise the bar—it is currently re-assessing its employee recognition program to make it more meaningful for the recipients.

Mike and Tim Davis have spent their lives working in car dealerships, and now the brothers have brought their extensive experience and superior customer service skills right here to Airdrie. The family-operated Davis Automotive Group purchased Airdrie Motors on July 3, 2012, which now operates as Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick.
“Our group has a longstanding and successful history in the automotive business in Alberta,” says Mike Davis. “We know how to do business in small towns and tight knit
communities and we couldn’t be more excited about having this opportunity in the vibrant city of Airdrie.”
The Davis Automotive Group founder, John Davis started his career working with his father in the group’s original store, Scougall Motors in Fort Macleod. Since then, John has guided the group as they have grown to nine dealerships across Alberta in Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Claresholm, Brooks, Barrhead and Westlock.
A huge benefit Airdrie car shoppers are offered by the Davis Auto Group is the shared database of provincial inventory from all nine Davis stores.
“If you come to Davis Chev and are looking for a blue Silverado, and we only have a black one on our lot, there’s a good chance that we have a blue one somewhere in our group,” explains Tim Davis. “At other dealerships, if they don’t have what you want, you have to go to another dealership. That’s not the case here.”
The Davis sales representatives have online access to Davis Automotive Group’s inventory, can look up what a customer is looking for on the spot, and arrange for delivery to Airdrie. Above everything else, visitors to Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick can be guaranteed they are getting a superior customer service experience.
“For us, it’s all about the customer,” says Tim Davis. “We back up everything we do. We won’t tell you we can do something and then not be able to do that. We are constantly trying to get better at moving the customer through their buying or service experience and satisfying them at every point along the way. We know we’ve got a great model working at our other dealerships and we are applying that same model here in Airdrie.”
“The Davis Group takes pride in supporting the communities we operate in,” adds Mike Davis. “Davis Chevrolet will be an important part of the Airdrie community and give back to this great city.”
Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick offers a wide range of new and used vehicles, in addition to offering parts, accessories, tires, service, a body shop and financing centre. Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick is located at 149 East Lake Crescent N.E. The dealership can be contacted at 403-948-6909. For more information, visit www.davischev.com.
