The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic and goal-oriented individual who thrives in a quick cycle, sales environment to join the Sales team at Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick, in Airdrie. This full-time position involves a rotating biweekly 6 on/4 on schedule.

The successful candidate will be offered a non-commissioned pay structure with an annual salary, a lucrative tiered volume bonus, plus a full array of company benefits! A full training program will be provided to the successful candidate. Duties in this role include:

  • Prospecting and working with existing clients to sell new and used automobiles
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers to exceed customer expectations to build loyalty
  • Complete and close sales in a manner which ensures maximum, long-term customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of automobiles, specifications and features

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally you possess a post-secondary diploma or degree in a commerce or business specialty. A  High School Diploma or equivalent is acceptable with commensurate industry or retail experience. You have a demonstrated ability to understand and meet customer needs which enable you to successfully convert prospects into sales and close deals to meet and exceed established sales quotas. Professional telephone skills, attention to detail, ability to follow processes, combined with exceptional closing skills, are a few of the attributes we are looking for in our next team members. You are also a team player, self-starter, proficient in computer usage, with demonstrable independent work habits.

The Opportunity

Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick in Airdrie is currently seeking an individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills to join their team as a Shipper/Receiver! This is a part-time position, with around 25 hours per week.  The successful candidate will be offered a competitive wage and full company benefits. In this role, you will:

  • Accurately receive and properly put away incoming parts inventory
  • Help keep the department clean and organized
  • Shipping of outbound packages
  • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries

The Ideal Candidate

You are reliable and upbeat with a strong attention to detail. You have excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You possess strong mathematical and computer skills as well as the ability to lift up to 80lbs. A High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required.

Parts Consultant

The Opportunity

Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick in Airdrie is currently seeking an individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills to join their team as a Parts Consultant! This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays required. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive wage and full company benefits. In this role, you will:

  • Establish rapport with customers by offering consistently high levels of customer service.
  • Assist customers in selecting parts and ensuring they are made aware of different products.
  • Manage inventory and order parts and provide information regarding parts, including their function, prices, applications and warranties.
  • Maintain ongoing current knowledge regarding which parts are in inventory, require reordering or must be specially ordered.

The Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced Parts Consultant with a Red Seal certificate. You have several years of Parts department experience in an automotive dealership setting as well as a solid understanding of automotive systems and parts. You demonstrate a customer first attitude and always strive to meet customer needs. Having strong communication skills, you possess a high level of integrity and are self-motivated.   A High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required.

3M/Xpel Film Installer

The Opportunity

Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick in Airdrie has an exciting opening in their Service Department for an energetic and motivated 3M/Xpel Film Installer. This is a full-time position with overtime, and occasional Saturdays required. The successful candidate will be offered $20-25/hour, depending on experience, plus full company benefits. In this you role, you will:

  • apply paint protective films to automobiles and window film products with efficiency and accuracy, and in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • inspect work pieces to determine proper procedures and materials required
  • estimate the cost of installation and repairs and maintain records for work completed
  • order supplies and materials needed for installation and repair work
  • work independently and with team of installers and sales staff to ensure complete and satisfactory customer service

The Ideal Candidate

You are detail-oriented, able to read job orders, interpret them and effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base. You have the demonstrated ability to work well independently and in a team environment. You possess High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Previous experience in this position is required but willing to provide additional training to the right candidate.
