What Comes With the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71?

“Our new Traverse is designed and engineered to act and look more like an SUV,” Scott Bell, vice president, Chevrolet, said in a press release. “Led by the all-new Z71, the 2024 Traverse builds on the success of its predecessor and will undoubtedly enable us to be in more customer driveways.”

2024 Traverse Z71 Off-Road Driving

Long-time Chevy devotees will recognize the Z71 label. It has been used on the manufacturer’s pickup trucks and truck-based SUVs for years. Adding equipment associated with the Z71 trim grade would be a first for Chevrolet and the Traverse lineup. The all-new 2024 Traverse Z71 will include:

  • An additional inch of ground clearance and an extra inch of track width
  • Specially designed all-terrain tires
  • Trim-specific front fascia that allows for improved approach angles
  • Aluminum skid plate
  • Signature Z71 red recovery hooks
  • Improved suspension
  • Terrain mode added
  • Hill Descent Control
  • Standard towing package

Performance Specs for the 2024 Traverse Z71

It will take a special powertrain for future owners of the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71 to take advantage of all of its new capabilities. Chevrolet engineers delivered with an all-new turbocharged 2.5-litre engine that will make 315 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. The new performance specs represent marked improvements for both horsepower and torque.
