“When I was looking online (for jobs), I went to the About Us section,” O’Hara said. “I saw the pillars of doing business, customer service and being involved in the community. I like being part of a team and being part of a family environment.”

Prior to starting his position as a sales manager, O’Hara worked in electronic sales. However, the automotive industry offers some different challenges than what he previously faced.

“My life there (in electronic sales) was a little different,” O’Hara said. “I grew a team and trained them. I’m in a new industry, and it takes a little bit of getting used to.”

O’Hara doesn’t live at the dealership and spends his free time pursuing a few interesting hobbies and spending time with family. He is a professional photographer, focusing on car photography and night photos.

“Cars are super important to me,” O’Hara said. “I’m part of the car scene here. I’ll go to car shows or Cars and Coffee events.”

Dream Car

One of the occupational hazards of entering the automotive industry is that someon’s dream car is going be very specific. O’Hara certainly has big dreams in this area. His choice of the latest Mercedes-Benz C63 E AMG is truly inspired.

“I test-drove the version down,” O’Hara said. “I was floored.”

We bet.
