GMC Ready to Introduce Diesel Engine to AT4X Lineup
Will the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X Have a Diesel Engine?
The GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X already provides one of the most incredible ownership experiences in the full-size pickup truck segment. When the 2024 model year kicks off, Davis Chevrolet customers will have some new performance options to consider. Our manufacturing partner is finally introducing its diesel engine to the AT4X lineup. Not only will this be the first time the AT4X model offers the diesel engine, but the engine platform itself has been updated. Follow along with Davis Chevrolet while we take a closer look at this new technology.
“The 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine has long been a favourite of Sierra light-duty owners,” Will Mellon, marketing manager, GMC Sierra, said in a press release. “Since the launch of the refined Duramax for the 2023 model year, around 20 percent of all Sierra 1500s sold have come with the engine, and we expect its addition to the AT4X trim to take mix even higher.”
How is the 2024 AT4X Diesel Engine Different?
