Engine Options
Every 2025 Acadia uses a turbocharged 1.5-litre, four-cylinder. All models will make 175 horsepower, with the front-wheel drive version posting 184 pound-feet of torque and all-wheel drive models making 203 pound-feet of torque. The Ford Escape offers similar performance scores at the base level.
Fuel Economy
Even with all the performance created by the GMC SUV’s engine, it’s able to offer strong fuel economy scores, recording 10.0 L/100 km in the city and 8.4 L/100 km on the highway. The base 2025 Escape makes a slightly better score, separated by barely one point on each side.
Design
Passenger Comfort
The 2025 Acadia and 2025 Escape each have two rows of seats that can hold up to five people. Future Acadia owners will have more than 1,000 mm of legroom in the front seats and just under 1,000 mm of rear legroom. The Escape offers very similar dimensions.
Cargo Space
