There will never be a lack of power available with the 2024 Silverado HD. Buyers choosing versions of the heavy-duty pickup with the naturally aspirated 6.6-litre, V-8 engine will have 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. Equipping the truck with the turbocharged Duramax 6.6-litre V-8 engine pushes the truck’s output to 455 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque.
Cargo Bed Volume
The cargo bed of the 2024 Silverado HD offers more cargo volume than any of its rivals. Furthermore, that cargo will be easier to control thanks to the 12 standard tie-downs and available LED lighting system in the back. A 120-volt outlet is also available.
Heavy-Duty Towing
Naturally, towing is going to be a major concern of the 2024 Silverado HD. Buyers choosing the 2500HD model can pull up to 8,396 kg (18,510 lbs.). On the other hand, the 3500HD has a maximum pulling capacity of 16,329 kg (36,000 lbs.).
